ISOshade® – the façade unit with sunblind in the cavity
ISOshade® allows seele to combine its façade construction skills with its in-depth knowledge of building physics and materials plus solutions for redirecting the incoming light in a compact façade #madebyseele. seele façades with integral sunshading ensure top quality in series.
ISOshade® fulfils all the requirements when it comes to specifications for high-performance, energy-efficient, double-skin façades with integral sunblinds. Compared with an external façade made from insulating glass and separate sunshading elements, ISOshade® offers more effective insulation against noise, lower heat losses and efficient protection against sunlight and glare.
Advantages
- Protected sunshading elements
- No wind noise, no cleaning effort
- Individual light admission
- Lower heating and cooling costs
- Excellent sound insulation
- All façade types
ISOshade® – the compact design for special demands
ISOshade® consists of triple glazing plus a sunblind fitted in a cavity. A specially developed pressure equalisation system regulates climate loads and pressure differences due to temperature fluctuations and minimises the moisture in the cavity. Desiccants fitted in the frame prevent condensation in the cavity.
The simple construction enables seele to reduce the complexity of façades with integral sunblinds. Apart from the connections for the sunblind mechanism, no further pipes or cables are needed. A removable panel allows access to the sunblind for maintenance.
Integral sunshading – variable, quiet, revisable
Adjustable slats, semi-transparent UV-resistant fabrics or louvre blinds to redirect the incoming light are fitted depending on functional and aesthetic requirements. Comprehensive tests ensure the compatibility of the materials.
In the top-end edition ISOshade® offers maximum use of daylight while redirecting it irrespective of the position of the sun into the furthest corners of a room for maximum interior comfort without glare. Integration in the building service systems is easily possible so that sunblinds can also be operated conveniently and individually via an app.
A removable panel allows access to the sunblind for maintenance.
